Science Teacher (QTS) / KS3/4 / Outstanding Independent School / Merton

Have you ever wanted to be a KS3/4 Science Teacher and have the opportunity of to teach Geography or Maths as a second subject, while being close to home in Merton, at a highly successful school rated as ‘Outstanding ‘? Role information:

Science Teacher

  • Temporary (19/02 – 27/03)
  • Able to teach Maths or Geography as a second subject.
  • Full-time

Role expectation:

  • To plan and prepare Science lessons for pupils at KS3 and KS4
  • Complete the marking and assessment of pupils work and track progress
  • Take involvement with faculty and the department
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS is needed
  • NQTs/ECTs will also be accepted
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Clean and current enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Up to date Safeguarding training
  • Passion for teaching and having a real impact on a student’s education
