We are looking for a Science teacher to join us in Blackpool on a full-time basis. This position will be starting on the 4th of September with the potential to make this a permanent position. To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about making science accessible for all as this is a huge part of the schools fundamental culture.
Making science relevant and available to everyone is the schools goal. So they have created a curriculum that enables all students to have complete access to all of the sciences. By relating what students learn in science lessons to a wide range of real-world situations and potential career paths, helps them to understand how science is relevant. Their Key Stage 3 science curriculum strives to give students the information and skills they need to succeed by building on the groundwork. To allow students to choose the science pathway that is best for them, they offer both combined science and separate science at the higher and foundation tiers of the GCSE.
