As a Science Teacher with a Biology focus, you will teach KS3 and KS4 students using clear explanations and structured lessons that build understanding over time.

Key responsibilities
Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 with a Biology specialism
Deliver lessons that build knowledge step by step
Explain complex ideas clearly and logically
Support practical lessons safely and effectively
Reinforce key vocabulary and concepts
Track progress and address gaps in understanding
Prepare students for GCSE exams

The classroom environment
Lessons are structured and well paced
Students understand processes, not just facts
Practical work supports theory
Behaviour is consistent and well managed

Skills and experience
Strong Biology subject knowledge
Experience in secondary teaching preferred
Clear explanation and questioning skills
Confident classroom management

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with Biology or life science backgrounds
