Science Teacher - Hertfordshire Suitable to NQT

Quantum Scholars are working closely with a high-achieving and "Outstanding" rated secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a passionate Science Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2026.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong passion for Science and teaching
• Demonstrates a genuine regard and respect for young people
• Is committed to ongoing professional development
• Brings enthusiasm and energy to the classroom

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in a Science-related subject
• Strong subject knowledge across Science (specialism welcome)
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• MUST have the right to work in the UK - sponsorship is NOT available

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
