Position: Science Teacher

Location: Bushey

We're currently working alongside a great school in Bushey who are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join their team. While qualified teachers are preferred, the school is open to considering suitably experienced unqualified teachers who have a background in delivering science-based subjects. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in science to contribute to students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Supporting students in developing their understanding of scientific concepts and skills.
  • Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the wider curriculum and school initiatives.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience teaching Science or science-based subjects is desirable.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approach to teaching and learning.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
