One of our Client schools are actively seeking a Part time Receptionist to join their team ASAP. The school who have been rated a ‘Good’ School by Ofsted are part of the Northampton Diocese and are based very centrally to Northamptonshire in NN3, meaning they’re incredibly accessible by all modes of transport and have a large car park for drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and directing calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
  • Greeting visitors warmly and providing assistance as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating databases.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Responding to emails promptly and effectively.
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and organized.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in and managing a school office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential – we welcome applicants from all backgrounds!
