School Cleaner needed in Retford and surrounding areas

We are looking for a School Cleaner to join our team supporting local schools in the area of Retford, Nottinghamshire.

This temporary position offers the opportunity to support local schools to Retford by maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises.

• School Cleaner role in Retford or surrounding areas
• £14.24 to £15.00 per hour (including holiday pay, paid via PAYE and dependent on experience)
• Hours: Between 5.30am to 7.30am or 6.00am to 8.00am (Monday to Friday)

• Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience, ideally within a school setting
• Relevant training in the use of cleaning chemicals and health and safety (COSH Training)
• Enhanced DBS certificate - must hold a valid certificate or be willing to process one.
• Ability to provide references covering the last 24 months of employment
• School Cleaner applicants should either possess or be willing to complete up-to-date safeguarding training
• All applicants will undergo vetting checks as per the Department for Education's Safer Recruitment guidelines prior to starting work.
