School Caretaker - Doncaster

About the Role
As a School Caretaker in Doncaster, you will play a vital part in ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, clean and well-maintained.
The role will involve working as part of a small team and carrying out a variety of practical maintenance and site duties, including:
- Minor repairs and general maintenance
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Painting and decorating
- Fire safety duties
- Litter picking and maintaining the school grounds
- Supporting the general upkeep and security of the school site
- Working collaboratively as part of a small team
Working hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
- 5 days per week
- Duration: Autumn Term
- Applicants must be available to work during school holidays
All mandatory training will be covered.

School Caretaker Requirements:
- Previous caretaking, maintenance or site management experience
- Practical experience with minor repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating
- Knowledge or experience of fire safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Reliability
- Commitment to safeguarding
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice in relation to facilities management
