About the Role

Are you an organised, professional, and friendly individual looking to work within a school environment?

A welcoming and busy secondary school is looking for a proactive and organised School Administrative Assistant to join their office team. You’ll be joining a friendly school community where no two days are the same. From greeting visitors and supporting attendance processes to helping manage school communications and general administration, you’ll be at the centre of the school’s day-to-day operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and communication skills who enjoys working in a busy and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the school office and leadership team
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally
  • Welcome visitors, staff, students, and parents to the school
  • Maintain accurate student records and attendance data
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and general office organisation
  • Support with scheduling meetings, appointments, and school communications

The school is looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, professional, and approachable
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with staff, students, and parents
  • Comfortable working under pressure and prioritising tasks
  • Experienced in administration or receptionist duties

Requirements

The ideal candidate will also require the following or already hold & willing to apply for: (We can help you obtain the below as part of the registration process)

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Education Workforce Regulation registration (EWC)
  • Aged 18 and over
  • Level 2 Safeguarding Course as part of your onboarding with us
  • A Minimum of 2 professional based references which cover a 24-month period of employment (or equivalent)
