Smile Education are delighted to be working with a forward-thinking primary based in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Resource Base Teacher to join the team from May 2024.
 
We are currently seeking a Resource Base Teacher to join the welcoming school from May 2024 until the end of the academic year, with a view to extend further for the right person. The successful applicant will be working within a resource base on the school grounds, supporting pupils with SEND, working closely with other Class Teachers and the school SENDCO. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who would like to further their knowledge and ability in SEND education. The school resource base offers outstanding resources and support for both pupils and staff.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking and vibrant setting. The school is located in north Birmingham, within proximity to Great Barr, Handsworth, and Hamstead. The expected salary range for the position is between £150-£225 per day, depending on experience.
 
What to expect from applicants?
 
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience of supporting pupils with SEND is beneficial. However, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and knowledge within SEND education.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident in teaching pupils with SEND, including providing targeted intervention and 1:1 support where required
  • Available to join the team from May 2024
