Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and highly regarded RC Primary School in Maghull seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their EYFS team on a maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teacher or an ambitious ECT with recent Reception teaching experience to secure a long-term role in a supportive school environment.

  • Reception Teacher (EYFS)
  • Start: November 2026 & January 2027
  • Part-time from November to December 2026
  • Full-time from January 2027 until July 2027
  • Maternity cover position
  • Planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities included
  • Competitive daily rates with enhanced pay available
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within Reception/EYFS
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Ability to create engaging, nurturing and inclusive learning environments
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Experience with Little Wandle Phonics would be highly advantageous
  • Experienced Reception Teachers
  • EYFS Specialists
  • ECTs with recent Reception teaching experience
  • Teachers available for the full academic commitment or part of the role period
