Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Watford from September.

Working as part of a collaborative and experienced Early Years team, you will plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, assess and monitor children's progress, and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues. The school is looking for a teacher who is committed to supporting children's academic, social, emotional, and personal development while maintaining high expectations for every learner.

The Role
• Plan and deliver engaging and creative learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports every child's learning and development.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, using assessment effectively to inform future planning and teaching.
• Provide opportunities for children to learn through play, exploration, and structured activities.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and school events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing.
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally within an Early Years or Reception setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
• Is passionate about providing an engaging, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Promotes inclusive teaching practices and supports the individual needs of every child.
• Has a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
