We are currently recruiting for one of our partner primary schools in Hackney for a long-term reception teacher!

The Ofsted rated ‘good’ school are looking for a creative and inspiring teacher who will have a positive impact on the learning and wellbeing of their pupils.

This is a full-time role 

The salary for this position is M1 to M4. 

The successful classroom teacher will be joining a well-resourced and supportive primary school with their motto being ‘education excellence for everyone’. The senior leaders within the school value staff and promote a supportive ethos alongside a healthy work-life balance.

We are looking for an excellent class teacher who:

  • Hold a UK teaching qualification such as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ,ECT, PGCE, SCITT or Bachelor of Education (BEd) with the ability to absorb well from your mentor (final year students who will receive their qualifications at the end of this academic year will also be considered dependent on their experience and application )
  • DBS on the Update Service (If you do not have a DBS on the Update Service, we can help you with this).
  • Is professional and hard-working
  • demonstrates high standards of positive behaviour management
  • Has high expectations of themselves and children
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Enthusiasm and a passion about education and learning
  • Can demonstrate excellent teaching consistently
  • Are determined to achieve high standards and progress for all our children
  • Is committed to whole school improvement through being part of, and contributing to, a whole school team

Please note, you must have or undergo an enhanced child only DBS to work in this role.
