Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Reception Class Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Doncaster.

This Reception Class Teacher opportunity is ideal for teachers with a passion for Early Years education. Working as a Reception Class Teacher in Doncaster allows you to support children during one of the most important stages of their development whilst enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching offers.

Position: Reception Class Teacher

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

Working as a Reception Class Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework, supporting children as they develop communication, early literacy, numeracy and social skills.

This Reception Class Teacher role in Doncaster is suitable for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers with a genuine interest in Early Years education and creating nurturing learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Reception lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom
• Assess children's progress and plan next steps
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Reception or EYFS
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
