RE Teacher

Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a dynamic secondary school in north Manchester. We are currently seeking an RE Teacher to join this friendly team from September 2024.
 
We are currently seeking an RE Teacher available to join this vibrant team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be completing all roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. You will be teaching pupils across both KS3 and KS4, including supporting pupils working towards GCSE’s.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively secondary school as part of welcoming and supportive team. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Hindley, Ince-in-Makerfield, and Wigan town centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £150-210 per day, depending on experience.
 
What to expect from applicants?
 
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status and should be confident in Teaching RE up to KS4. Applicants will benefit from completing a trial day ahead of starting employment, allowing you to get to know the school and staff before commencing employment.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Confident in teaching RE curriculum across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE level
