Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced supply teacher to join our teaching personnel team in the Manchester area. This is a flexible position that offers the opportunity to work on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on your availability. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in various educational settings, providing cover for absent teachers and delivering engaging lessons to students of different age groups and abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Following lesson plans and ensuring that curriculum objectives are met.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Providing support and guidance to students, addressing their individual needs.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with school staff and maintaining effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Relevant teaching experience in primary or secondary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching styles.
  • Flexibility in terms of availability and willingness to take on short notice assignments.
