We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across the Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).


  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Teach specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) where applicable
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively
  • Prepare students for GCSE (and A-Level, if applicable) examinations
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met within laboratory settings

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in a Science-related subject
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome)
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare

  • Ability to teach A-Level Science
  • Experience in a specific specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  • Knowledge of current curriculum developments
