Are you an exceptional tutor residing in the Nottinghamshire (Newark) area, driven by a passion to help students achieve their academic goals?

Would you thrive in providing personalized 1:1 tuition to students outside the traditional school environment, particularly in a public library setting?

TP Tutors is seeking dynamic and experienced 1:1 Tutors in the Nottinghamshire (Newark - NG24) area, with a proven track record of success in teaching students at both Primary and Secondary levels.

We seek tutors who can skillfully craft and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, assess learning progress effectively, and offer direct academic support. Equally important to us is the ability to establish strong connections with students through effective communication.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored tuition programs for students outside mainstream education, providing 1:1 support in a public library setting.
  • Customise tuition to address each student's unique needs, interests, and academic level.
  • Identify and address any barriers to learning, fostering a conducive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback using our online feedback platform, LEAP.
  • Build strong relationships with students, caregivers, and parents.
  • Stay updated on curriculum content and qualification frameworks relevant to your subject tuition.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Teaching qualification or experience in tutoring or as a Teaching Assistant.
  • 2+ years of tutoring, teaching, or TA experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
