Academics are working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school in Bushey to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Psychology Teacher for a permanent position starting September 2026. The school is known for its strong academic outcomes, supportive leadership, and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology specialist or a Social Sciences teacher with the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons at KS4 and KS5. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Humanities/Social Sciences department with a strong track record of student progress.

The Role

• Teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level (KS4 & KS5)
• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress
• Contributing to curriculum development within the department
• Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes and develop independent thinking skills
• Participating in wider school life, including pastoral and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Psychology (degree in Psychology or related field preferred)
• Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and/or KS5 (ECTs encouraged to apply)
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
