Teaching Personnel are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Coventry. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within whole-class learning environments.
The school caters for pupils from Early Years through to Post-16, providing a nurturing, inclusive, and highly supportive learning environment. Pupils have a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), communication and interaction needs, sensory needs, and social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, build communication skills, and achieve their individual goals. Some pupils may require support with personal care, mobility, and daily living skills, therefore applicants must be willing to assist in these areas where required.
This role would be particularly suitable for graduates considering future careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Teaching, Social Work, or other SEND-related professions.
