Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a psychology graduate teaching assistant to work in a secondary school in the Tameside area. As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students in their academic and personal development. You will work closely with teachers to create engaging lesson plans and activities that will help students learn and grow.

Your role will involve working with students one-on-one or in small groups, providing support and guidance as needed. You will help students develop their study skills, improve their academic performance, and build their confidence and self-esteem. You will also work with students who may be experiencing personal or emotional difficulties, providing them with the support they need to overcome any challenges they may be facing.

To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in psychology or a related field. You should also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Psychology or a related subject

- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

- Knowledge of special educational needs and strategies for supporting students with additional needs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate who is looking to gain experience in education. The position is full-time and temporary, with the possibility of extension.
