Are you passionate about helping those who need it most?

TP Tutors are currently seeking tutors to provide proactive tuition to young learners who have faced challenges in their education and require additional support. These students are currently not attending school for various reasons, such as being new to the area, recent experiences of being looked after, or newly diagnosed SEN requiring specialised provision.

As a tutor, your role will involve developing tailored tuition sessions delivered either individually or in small groups. There's is an oppurtunity for tutors capable of supporting primary-aged students in subjects such as, English, Maths and more. The children typically recieve between 10-16 hours of tuition per week.

Tuition sessions will likely take place either in the student's home or at a mutually agreed public location, such as a library.

The ideal tutor would have:

  • A teaching qualification or tutoring experience.
  • Experience working one-on-one with primary-aged students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • A calm and patient personality.

These students are located in Nottinghamshire, which benefits from an excellent public transport system and road network, making travel convenient.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
