Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.

Whether you have experience working with children, care experience, youth work experience, or you're looking to start a career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in class, 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting teachers with lessons and classroom activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs where required

Applicants will require an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or be willing to obtain one) and must be committed to safeguarding children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
