Are you looking for a rewarding role in education where you can make a difference in the lives of young students? A vibrant and inclusive Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team after the Easter break (8th April).
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with 3 pupils on a 1:1 basis, supporting their individual needs and learning requirements. Two of the pupils are non-verbal, and the other pupil requires academic support due to being easily distracted. You will follow a rota of different times to work with each pupil throughout the day.
In addition to providing 1:1 support, you will also assist the class teacher by supporting the whole class during lessons. This varied role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
The pay for this full-time role is £83.33 for a 6.5-hour day, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. This is an ongoing position with the possibility of further career development within the school.
If you have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
