Teaching Personnel are currently looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Plymouth.

Whether you have previous classroom experience, a background in childcare, youth work, coaching, support work, or are looking to start a career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
  • Helping children to engage with their learning
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • A positive, patient and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
