Supply Desk is looking to expand our pool of Primary Teachers for schools across Worthing and the surrounding West Sussex area.

We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced Primary Teachers looking to make a positive impact in the classroom.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.

• Teach across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and placement.

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils.

• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom.

• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.

• Encourage confidence, independence and positive learning habits.

• Build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.

• Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupils' academic and personal development.

• Holds QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching within a primary school, or is an ECT ready to begin their teaching career.

• Has a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.

• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management.

• Can engage, motivate and inspire young learners.

• Is confident adapting teaching to suit different learning needs.

• Has strong communication and organisational skills.

• Is reliable, flexible and passionate about education.
