Supply Desk are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Harrow area, starting this September.

This full-time teaching position would suit a teacher who enjoys working across Key Stages 1 and 2 and is committed to creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to helping every pupil reach their full potential, while making a positive contribution to the wider school community.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing and tracking pupil progress, and maintaining effective communication with parents and carers. There will also be opportunities to contribute to extra-curricular activities, school initiatives, and enrichment opportunities, helping to provide a well-rounded educational experience for all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement, and learning
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities, clubs, and wider school initiatives
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for pupils
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Primary teaching or classroom experience
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's development
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An inclusive and nurturing approach to teaching and learning
• Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
• Commitment to promoting high standards of education and pupil wellbeing
