Primary schools across Southampton are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to join their teams from September on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for a full-time teaching role while making a positive impact in the classroom. Opportunities are available across a range of supportive and welcoming primary school settings, including regular class teaching and PPA cover.

The Role

As a Full-Time Primary Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary age range
• Plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, and parents
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
• Contribute positively to the wider school community
• Take responsibility for the planning, delivery, and assessment of your class
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible, proactive, and positive approach
• Confidence teaching across a range of primary year groups
• A passion for teaching and supporting children's development
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
