About the Role
Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school, where you will inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential through engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Teach pupils across the relevant Key Stage, adapting lessons and resources to meet a range of abilities, learning needs, and individual requirements.
- Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
- Develop pupils' knowledge and skills across core and foundation subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and other areas of the curriculum.
- Use a range of effective teaching strategies to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for further development.
- Differentiate lessons effectively to ensure all pupils, including those with SEND, are supported and appropriately challenged.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, respect, and attendance within the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, school events, enrichment activities, and wider school initiatives where required.
- Support pupils' personal, social, and emotional development, helping them to build confidence and positive relationships.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.
- The ability to differentiate teaching and support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
