Teaching Personnel are currently supporting primary schools across Barry, Penarth, Cowbridge and the wider Vale of Glamorgan with their recruitment of qualified teachers.

We have opportunities available across Foundation Phase, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with both short-term supply and long-term classroom positions available.

As a Primary Teacher you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons following the Curriculum for Wales
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and senior leaders
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and behaviour
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
