About the Role

Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Bushey area. Working within a collaborative school community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a love of learning, and supporting pupils to achieve their full academic, social, and emotional potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment data to inform future planning.
• Differentiate teaching to support pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and classroom standards.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil success.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
