Salary: £29,344–£44,919

By KS2, independence begins to develop.
Structure ensures progress continues.

As a KS2 Teacher, you will support pupils through structured learning as they build confidence across core subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Teach KS2 curriculum across core subjects
• Support reading, writing, and maths development
• Deliver structured lessons
• Track progress and provide targeted support
• Maintain classroom routines
• Support pupils of varying abilities

The classroom environment

• Lessons are structured and consistent
• Pupils understand expectations
• Behaviour is well managed
• Learning builds steadily

Skills and experience

• Experience in KS2 teaching
• Strong classroom management
• Organisation and planning
• Clear communication

What success looks like

• Pupil progress is consistent
• Confidence improves
• Classroom routines remain strong

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with KS2 experience
