Contract: 2 days per week- (PPA with job share) Thursday and Friday

 Pay: Paid to scale (£168 – £233 per day)

About the Role:

An average sized, 2 form entry Primary school in the Salisbury area is seeking a job share teacher to teach and plan with  Year 5 starting in September 2026 This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities.

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 5 class, working closely with a year group partner and a full time LSA and an HLTA. Class sizes are larger than average which is why HLTA support is full time.

  • Qualified Primary Teacher with experience of working in a Year 5 classroom
  • Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND
  • Consistent, adaptive and inclusive professionals

Requirements

  • UK-recognised teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
