Pay: £145–£160 per day

We are looking for a resilient, enthusiastic, and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Stockton-on-Tees from after the October half-term break. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Year 6 class and make a lasting impact during a key stage in pupils' education.

The successful candidate will be confident in delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. The class presents some challenging behaviour, so we are seeking someone with strong behaviour management skills who can build positive relationships and create a calm, structured learning environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
  • Be confident managing challenging behaviour using positive and consistent strategies.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupils' academic and personal development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
