We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and talented Class Teacher to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Potters Bar from September 2026. This is a full-time position, with the ideal placement in Year 3; however, the school is flexible and will consider teachers with strengths and experience across either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons, inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential, and creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported.

  • Uphold high expectations for behaviour, achievement, attendance, and safeguarding.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply and will benefit from a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting across either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A creative, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
