Year 5 Class Teacher – 1 day a week for 2026/2027

Pay: £170–£230 per day

What the School Is Looking For:

• A dedicated KS2 teacher with a passion for inspiring learners in Year 5
• Strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Experience differentiating effectively, especially to support pupils with SEND
• Confidence working with support staff (LSAs) to deliver inclusive teaching
• A reflective and adaptable professional committed to continuous improvement
• Excellent understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in reading, writing, and maths

What We Ask From You:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK
• An up-to-date DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally in a Year 5 setting
• Passion for nurturing and developing young learners
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
