Primary Teacher – Sunderland – September 2026 Start

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Sunderland for the 2026/2027 academic year.

This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment with the potential for ongoing opportunities.

  • Full class teaching responsibility within a mainstream primary setting
  • Teaching a class of 25 pupils
  • Supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant within the classroom
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring pupil progress and supporting individual learning needs
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Experience within a primary school setting preferred
  • Competitive weekly pay
  • Daily rate between £140 - £170 depending on experience
  • Full-time, long-term stability for the full academic year
  • Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement
