  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Proficiency in educational technology
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
  • Participation in relevant continuing professional development (CPD) courses
  • Regular school hours with additional time for planning and assessment
  • Collaborative work environment with other teachers and school staff
  • Potential involvement in extracurricular activities and school events
  • Adherence to school policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
