We are working with a small and welcoming primary school located in the picturesque town of Brixham, Devon. Committed to providing high-quality education, they foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Due to a retirement, they are excited to welcome a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team.

Job Details:

  • Position: Key Stage 1 Teacher (Part-Time)
  • Days: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
  • Start Date: 15th April 2024
  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year
  • Class Size: Up to 30 children
  • Planning Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be responsible for planning lessons in accordance with the curriculum
  • Pay Scale: Salary will be paid according to the successful applicant's pay scale

Responsibilities: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
  • Embrace the ethos and values of our school community, fostering a love for learning in all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary training.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
