  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary school students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to parents and stakeholders
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and ensure holistic student development
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
  • Part-Time hours, typically during school term times
  • Classroom-based teaching with some administrative duties
  • Collaborative work environment with fellow teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
