If you are a Fully Qualified Primary teacher who has previous experience teaching EYFS in primary schools, then we have a position that may be right for you. This is a Full-Time, term-time only role with planning included and other responsibilities.

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to primary students in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of school activities and trips
  • Accountability and responsibility for pupil progress
  • Planning and directing appropriate interventions
  • Writing and developing medium term plans
  • Attending parent’s evenings
  • Adding value to the wider school through staff meetings and curriculum development
  • Working closely with partner teachers, Year Group and Key Stage leads to implement school development targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relations with parents
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Proficient in phonics instruction
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

This role is based in South East England, West Sussex, Crawley. The primary teacher will work full-time hours during term-time. The school has a beautiful two form entry with a 'Good' Ofsted rating. The teacher will receive support from the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and have access to brilliant training opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
