Teaching Personnel are looking for a talented Key Stage 2 Teacher to join one of our client schools in the Wearside area. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking for full time employment, as the role is due to start from November 2021 and run until at least Christmas 2021 with the potential to be extended to the full academic year.

The school are looking to employ an enthusiastic Teacher who is willing to go the extra mile to connect to their pupils who can at times be disengaged with the subject. The school have consistently received ‘Good’ Ofsted rated reviews for their support of staff and pupils. The role would be suitable for any Teacher looking for a new challenge.

About the School:

  • Located in the Seaburn, Sunderland area with transport links to Gateshead, Durham and Newcastle
  • By the end of Year 2, pupils reach levels of attainment in reading, writing and mathematics which are significantly above average
  • Staff regularly check pupils learning to set appropriate challenges and provide intervention to suit all abilities so that pupils progress is supported and attained.
  • Local partnerships support extracurricular activities to encourage pupils to reach their full potential

The Role:

  • Long term cover starting from November 2021 until Christmas 2021 at least
  • Delivering lessons to year Key Stage 2 classes
  • Helping to run intervention sessions to raise attainment and stretch top learners
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants to ensure high standards of education

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (UK equivalent acceptable)
  • Experience Teaching primary aged pupils
  • Strong record of progression and attainment at Primary level
  • ECT/NQT's welcome to apply
