We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Primary Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from September 2026. This is a full-time position through to the Christmas break in the first instance, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1, creating a positive learning environment and ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively in accordance with school policies.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
  • Maintain high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
