We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Congleton from September 2026. This is a full-time position initially running until the Christmas break, with the possibility of being extended beyond this period.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners and support their academic, social, and emotional development. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a positive impact within a well-established school community.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are consistently met.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
