Primary Teacher – ECTs and Experienced Teachers Welcome

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Lancaster from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey and experienced teachers seeking their next challenge.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will create a positive and inclusive learning environment while working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and wider school staff.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents.
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A passion for primary education and supporting pupil achievement.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive ongoing support and guidance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
