Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking passionate Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools, where you'll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils' academic, personal, and social development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary age range, following lesson plans and school curriculum expectations.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different pupils, classes, and year groups.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning, confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Maintain high expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour, and engagement throughout the school day.
- Support pupils' development across core subjects, including English, mathematics, phonics, and the wider primary curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school's behaviour policies and expectations.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and school communities.
- Provide appropriate feedback to school staff regarding pupils' progress, behaviour, and learning.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and the ability to teach across different year groups.
- The ability to quickly adapt to new schools, classrooms, routines, and teaching environments.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work.
- The ability to confidently deliver lessons and follow existing planning where required.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A passion for supporting pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing.
