TP Tutors is in search of experienced educators who specialise in providing education to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their homes around Derbyshire. Both full and part-time positions are available, and candidates with QTS or relevant experience with SEN students are encouraged to apply.

At TP Tutors, we are committed to helping students who cannot attend mainstream schools due to learning barriers. Our aim is to create an environment where children can access education by providing them with tutors who are tailored to their specific needs. Many of our students have special and additional needs, including Autism, SEMH difficulties, Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, ADHD, and Specific Learning Difficulties.

Job Description:

  • Providing one-on-one education to SEN students in their homes or care homes around Derbyshire, specifically teaching English and Maths.
  • Assessing students' learning level and creating a tailored learning program that meets their specific needs and academic goals.
  • Building strong relationships with students to develop a learning strategy that caters to their individual needs.
  • Tracking and logging students' progress in our online platform, LEAP.

Requirements:

  • QTS or relevant experience working with SEN students.
  • Ability to create a tailored learning program to meet individual students' needs and academic goals.
  • Ability to accurately track and log student progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Talent to develop strong relationships with students and their families.
