A well-regarded primary school in Southend is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. Working closely with teachers across the school, you'll play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally while contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity running until July 2027.

The Role

As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Provide classroom support to help pupils remain focused and motivated.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and participation.
• Help prepare learning resources and classroom activities.
• Contribute to a safe, positive and welcoming school environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has previous experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
