As a Teaching Assistant working through Teaching Personnel, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment supporting children acamdemically and personally. Roles may vary from general classroom support to 1:1 support for pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs).

 

Salary: £89.38 Per day
Location: Neath/Port Talbot
Hours of work: Term-time, Full time OR Part time


  • Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group interventions

  • Assist pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)

  • Help manage behaviour in line with school policies

  • Prepare learning resources and classroom materials

  • Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing


  • Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, care, coaching, personal experience etc.)

  • A positive, proactive, and patient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • DBS (Or willingness to apply)
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
