Teaching within EYFS and/or Year 1.

The role:
- Teach and deliver engaging lessons within EYFS and/or Year 1
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the Early Years/KS1 curriculum
- Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children's academic, social and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents/carers
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
The successful candidate will have:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven teaching experience within EYFS and/or Year 1
- A strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS/KS1 curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A nurturing, patient and child-centred approach
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Previous teaching experience is essential – ECT candidates will not be considered
